Frank grew up in the inner city of Milwaukee, where he witnessed the loss of life and decline in values in his community. Despite not being a major city, Milwaukee faces many of the same problems as larger cities in the Midwest and across the country.
In 2004, Frank’s Godless lifestyle landed him in prison for illegal drug activity and other charges while on probation for a gun charge. Without a father figure, he turned to gang life for guidance and saw local thugs as symbols of success, which led him to face a possible 30-year prison sentence.
During his time in prison, Frank found refuge in Christ through the guidance of fellow believers, which transformed his perspective on life. When he went to court for his pending charges after his release, he prayed to God to serve Him until his last breath. To his amazement, the judge dismissed his case, which Frank saw as a sign that his life was a reflection of the value of Jesus’ life given for all sin.
Frank reconnected with his childhood friend, who had found Christ years earlier, and together they now create music that glorifies God instead of the streets and gang life. As a Pastor with the Captive Project Church & Ministries, Frank leads a mission to reach the hearts of those doing Satan’s will in communities under siege. Through Jesus Christ, he has learned how to be a father, husband, man of God, and son to a world that lacks these virtues.
Frank believes that the Captive Project is God’s tool to fix what man has wrecked by sin, and he prays that God continues to manifest through ministries like the Captive Project during this time of grace.
